60th Annual Conference of AMI at CUH, Haryana

Association of Microbiologists of India (AMI) in association with Central University of Haryana – Department of Microbiology is organizing the 60th Annual Conference of AMI & International Symposium on Microbial Technologies in Sustainable Development of Energy, Environment, Agriculture, and Health from November 15-18 2019. The conference is aimed at providing a platform for the panel discussion, deliberate and formulates recommendations about the future in research on various aspects related to the theme for sustainable development for human welfare. The world is facing major challenges in the areas of energy, environment, agriculture, and health. More specifically, these problems are related to energy security due to increasing prices of crude oil and depletion of fossil reserves, environmental pollution as well as global climate change due to over-dependency upon non-renewable energy and fuels, food safety and agricultural productivity, and emerging and re-emerging microbial infections, development of antimicrobial drug resistance, infection management and providing affordable health solutions. The conference would be attended by prominent microbiologists, interdisciplinary researchers, practitioners and educators from India and abroad, who would discuss recent innovations, research trends, concerns, and practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in various thematic areas of Microbiology. Prominent speakers like Dr. Ben D. Tell, Dr. Kapil Tahlan, Dr. Abhishek Kumar, Dr.Vijay Kumar, etc will be giving their expert talk and will be presenting their views on the current environment trend.
