NGBT 2019 at Taj Land ends, Mumbai

SciGenom Research Foundation (SGRF) is pleased to announce the NextGen Genomics, Biology, Bioinformatics and Technologies (NGBT) Conference. The conference is being jointly organized by Toronto Recombinant Antibody Centre (TRAC), Toronto, Canada, and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India, Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Mumbai, India, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai, India, and Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU), Baroda, India.

This is the ninth international conference hosted by SGRF Conferences, the educational outreach arm of SciGenom Research Foundation (SGRF), along with national and international institutes with a primary goal to promote and support Science and Scientific research in India and South Asia. Last year, approximately 800 delegates from India and various other parts of the world participated in the conference. The topic which glued everyone last year was snakebite cure and over 100 plus talks and discussions were done over it. The conference also featured over 300 posters. Poster awards supported by major journals including Nature, Science and EMBO were presented to 10 students. The conference has invited speakers from a number of fields related to biology or biology enabling technologies. Talks about drug discovery, next-generation sequencing, biomarkers, animal and plant biotechnology, cancer signalling, basic cell signalling will be the most discussed topics in the conference.

We expect 1000 plus delegates to participate as it will be a great platform for many eminent scientists to share their work and gain knowledge about new discoveries. The prominent speakers for this year conference include John Kuriyan (University of California), Arul M. Chinnaiyan (University of Michigan), K J. Patel(Cambridge Biomedical Campus) and many more scientists from different parts of the world will be a part of this amazing science discussion.
