Two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions have been announced in funded research projects at the Indian Institute of Science, Education and Research (IISER) – Bhopal. Below please find details of each position.

 

1. JRF – SERB funded Research Project, Department of Chemistry

DST-SERB Project No SERB/CHM/2019073

Research Area: Chemical Biology

Work profile: Synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles for separation of various pancreatic cell types

No of positions: 1 JRF

Duration: 2 years

Eligibility: MSc (or equivalent) in Organic Chemistry/Biochemistry with a minimum score of 60% CGPA 7/10 & above. CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualified. Only Indian Nationals.

Salary: Monthly Rs. 31000/- + HRA

2. JRF – DBT funded Research Project, Department of Biology

No of positions: 1 JRF

Duration: 3 years

Eligibility: MSc (or equivalent) in Life sciences with a minimum score of 60% CGPA 7/10 & above. CSIR-UGC NET or GATE qualified. Only Indian Nationals. Prior experience in protein expression & purification/ biophysics/ biochemistry is desired would be preferred.

Salary: Monthly Rs. 31000/- + HRA in first 2 years followed by Rs. 35000 + HRA in the 3rd Year
