Job Title: Manager / Associate Manager in Global Development
Job Description: Novo Nordisk is looking for a Manager for the medical writing team in the Global Development (GD) unit based out of Global Service Centre (GSC), Bangalore, India. Key responsibilities for this position will be to lead and drive deliverables related to Novo Nordisk compliance with disclosure requirements, also to set directions and manage the teams to meet the department and organization’s business goals according to Novo Nordisk Way. Ensure effective coaching and mentoring of team members to enhance performance and support individual development. Plan resources for all deliverables from the teams and support department head in ensuring optimal and flexible use of resources. Furthermore, drive continuous improvement and quality mindset with compliance to Novo Nordisk Quality Management System. The role involves prioritizing and managing diverse tasks and stakeholders, often only with general guidelines available for the tasks to be performed. Consequently, a great deal of self-initiative is demanded as well as flexibility and resilience. Overall the job requires an independent, committed and result-oriented person. Novel approaches to resolving resource, competency, technical and organisational issues and constraints are required. Frequent traveling to attend meetings with stakeholders in Headquarter is part of the job. The ability to work in a global context is important, as well as cultural awareness and inclusive approach.

Eligibility: Master’s / Phd in Life Science, Medicine, Veterinary Science etc. or equivalent professional experience Minimum 1-3 years of experience in reporting and distribution of results from clinical trials, scientific and medical publications, regulatory documents etc. Preferred 2-3 years’ experience in people management either from a project or line management is preferred Thorough understanding of drug development, ICH GCP, ICH E3 and other regulatory requirements Experience in registration and disclosure of studies in public registries is preferred
