Day 1 : April 6, 2020 | 3 pm  Science Behind Molecular Cloning

Molecular cloning has played an important role in fundamental biological research, it is a set of application of
different molecular biology methods, which are used to insert recombinant DNA into a cloning/expression vector
that will replicate recombinant DNA fragments in host organisms. This webinar gives a brief introduction about
history of molecular cloning along with the tools like molecular scissors and their types. Here, complete
molecular cloning will be understood with an example where mammalian GAPDH gene will be isolated and
expressed in a bacterial system.

Day 7: April 13, 2020 | 3 pm Laboratory Water De-coded

Water is widely considered to be a laboratory reagent because it constitutes a high percentage of most reagent solutions used in many laboratory technologies and assays. Most or all the current rapid and automated instruments with highly complex testing methodologies require of water for analysis, dilution & cleaning. The unique properties of water make it a nearly universal solvent for many substances.

Water is used to prepare buffers, blanks, calibrators, controls, mobile phase, reaction mixtures, and reagent reconstitution for many laboratory assays and hence Water quality is considered to be one of the critical preanalytical factors that influence laboratory testing.

We try to de-code the laboratory water system for the benefit of audience. The session will cover importance of laboratory water system in a lab and guide the audience on things they should be aware off with respect to a Laboratory Water Purification System.
