Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Job Description: Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in the project ““MicroRNA-mediated gene regulation of Anopheles mosquito immunity during early phase of malarial parasite transmission”” SERB extramural research grant. The candidate should be well versed with molecular biology techniques along with knowledge of immunology. Work experience in the area of bioinformatics ( Transcriptomics) will be an added advantage. Prior experience in mosquito handling would be a plus but not mandatory. Candidates who have qualified NET-LS or GATE will be preferred. Initially, the job will be for one year but can be extendable to three years based on the performance of the candidate. As this is a collaborative project, the candidate must be willing to travel between the two host institutes and work at the University of Hyderabad and Central University of Punjab, if required. The candidate appointed would be encouraged to register for the Ph.D. program based on his or her merit as per University guidelines.

Eligibility: M.Sc. with at least 55% Marks in Life Sciences/Zoology/Animal Sciences/ Biotechnology/Bioinformatics from any UGC recognized University/Institute. Age below 28 years as on date of the interview (Relaxation in age is permissible for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms).
Salary Range: 31000+ 10%HRA
