Lab Q Spectra – The New Water System from Ion Exchange

Water is a universal solvent due to which it can dissolve different impurities. Even trace levels of impurities can affect the validity of scientific experiments. It is necessary to have pure water and different types of water for different activities in the lab. Type 1 Ultrapure water is essential and critical for major scientific applications such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, PCR and cell culture tests. Type 2 pure water is needed for routine laboratory applications.

Ultrapure water is necessary for an ideal lab. The high level of purity makes it necessary for highly sensitive applications. Different contaminants such as dissolved gases, colloids, bacterias, particles and other organic compounds can interfere with the experimental data, resulting in faulty analysis. Ultrapure water has no contaminants or impurities unlike tap water or distilled water. Analysts can rely on ultra-pure water for accurate results.

The Lab Q Spectra recently launched by Ion Exchange (India) is an advanced lab water system that contains an integrated technology to deliver Type 2 and Type 1 water from a single unit. It has a touch screen display for easy navigation and data viewing along with innovative technology. This device also comes with the auto sanitisation mode hence you do not have to go for any chemical cleaning method.

This advanced-level water system has three variants with high-performance parameters.
