The stage is a flat surface on which the sample is placed and a glass microscopic slide can be adjusted. Stage lights and mirrors can be controlled which are fitted on the microscope. Some advanced microscopes have a digital camera that can be connected to a computer that helps in imaging and analysis of the sample.
A stereomicroscope is another microscope that is used for viewing rocks, crystals, specimens. It has two different optical parts which help in-depth perception and three-dimensional viewing.
